Spalted Armillary Sphere SOLD

Poetic licence regarding the name but that is wht it reminds me of. It is a very spalted piece of sycamore with macassar ebony finials. Total dimensions are:- sphere is 6" diameter (159mm) and total length across the finisals is 20" (510mm) It is seated 'free standing' so able to be moved to personal preference) on an oak burr base that has been carved to accomodate the sphere. It has been polished with a hard wax polish.One of a kind sculptural piece that would grace any decor.
