BOD ADOPTION AGENCY

Alfhild is a traditional Viking Bod except his ancestors always lived in the mountains. After many years on Bodmin Moor, he is looking to move into a family that at least has some hills he can climb. He realises that with such little legs he might need some help but he lives in hope that he can be adopted by someone who likes climbing and will take him with them. 

Max height 100mm, 145mm on seat

 Hayyim was named after an old wizard who specialised in medicine and alchemy. As he grew up, he was encouraged to investigate different remedies and spells that would help the Bods on the moor. He has got to the point of giving up however as he is so limited with the resources. He wants to find new remedies and potions. He has brought his favourite with him, eye of newt, which he uses to apply lotions on skin problems and his favourite snake Coatlicue

Meya has learned that his ancestors were royalty in the old days when in Scandinavia and though much of his history may have been made up after a few drops of the local brew by his parents he has decided that it is true and so carved himself a little throne from a log he found on the moor. He realises that he is perhaps a better maker of weapons than furniture and is hoping he will be adopted by someone who can make him a much better throne, more suitable for his status.

Myrk is quite a small bod and has always been a bit of a loner. With his white beard he looks a lot older than he actually is (Only 127 ½) He loves things that are different hence his fancy weaponry and helmet. Also likes the odd tipple. Though he is small he has a strong will and wants to be seen as a warrior rather than just a little bod. He gets annoyed when people tell him he is cute, he would rather they say he is obviously a Bod to be reckoned with 

Max Height 90cm 125 on stool 

Bernard has been living over a butcher’s shop for some time. Unfortunately for him the family he lives with are almost vegetarian so he doesn't get much chance to be like his heroes in the shop downstairs. He has learned to make sausages and that is all so far. He would love to be adopted by a family that really know what to do with meat and he is really keen to learn how to do chops, steaks and things.

Pinky is a very girly Bod and, as we can see loves the colour pink. She decided to live up to this and renamed herself Pinky. (She was called Bertha before) She always wanted to be a hairdresser and would also like to move on and start doing nails as well if she can be adopted by someone who can teach her. As yet she hasn't actually cut anyone’s hair but is living in hope that there is someone out there who will adopt her and actually let her free with some scissors.

 Viggo was born and has grown up on Bodmin Moor like most of the Viking Bods but he has become disillusioned with all the other Bods as they pretend to be warriors or special wizards. He hopes to have a home where he can be himself not what others want him to be. He loves his weapons and longs to learn to use them properly  He realises that the chance of ever being able to fight like his ancestors is slim but if he can find someone who accepts his noble ancestry, he will be happy
