Replicas of Beaker People Pots
In an effort to remain true to the originals I have replicated the shape of one of the pots of the period. This is one of the largest at 155mm (6") tall and a maximum diameter of140mm (5") It has been stained red to emulate some of the colours used in the originals and where there are natural splits these have been filled with brass, perhaps not so original though many of the pots were repaired with clay at the time. It has been finished With a hard wax polish
This is a replica of a pot found in Wiltshire, now in the museum in Devizes. Originally created by the beaker people who are well know for their pottery. It is made of leylandii and stained, bringing out the often hidden figuring in the wood. The design is true to the original however. T Finished with a hard wax polish for easy maintenance it is both highly decorative and useful (not for liquids sadly)

. This one is made of leylandii and stained, bringing out the often hidden figuring in the wood. The design is true to the original however. This one has developed a natural split (in sympathy perhaps with the chips and cracks in the 4500 year old original. And has been enhanced with three leather reef knots. Finished with a hard wax polish
This little pot / bowl is 110mm diameter and 100mm tall. It is made from Leylandii and stained green, a common dye colour used in the beaker peoples pots. The stain has brought the graining out in the leylandii giving it a unique look. Finished with a hard wax polish it is ideal for those little Knick knacks we all accumulate
This bowl is again based on the designs and shapes found in the hoard of beaker people pottery in Wiltshire though a lot smaller than the original. It measures125mm diameter and 70mm tall. It is beaded and stained red as was the original.

Leylandii is a much underrated wood. The grain and figuring is what makes these pots so special. This one is 130mm (5") tall and has a maximum width of 110mm (4 1/4£) It has been finished with a hard wax polish for ease of maintenance and is a perfect receptacle for all those odds and sods we all inadvertantly collect whilst remaining highly decorative.
This pretty little weed pot stands 200mm (8") tall and has been textured, and stained blue. The finish is a hard wax polish giving it a good easily maintained finish, Ideal for dried flowers etc.
This tiny little pot has no obvious use apart from being cute and decorative. It measures just 45mm (1 1/2") tall and is 70mm (2 3/4") diameter. The texturing resembles a sea urchin. It has been stained red then finished with a hard wax polish.
This little weed pot is big enough perhaps for a single stem or just as a decorative item. It is just 140mm tall and has been stained red and textured.
